Travel Champion Spotlight: How Hailey, DPT Is Making an Impact in Allied Health

Celebrating a Travel Physical Therapist Who Puts Patients First

At AHS Staffing, we believe the best healthcare outcomes happen when clinicians are supported, empowered, and genuinely cared for. That belief is at the core of everything we do, and it is why we are proud to recognize Hailey, DPT as our February Allied Traveler Champion.

Hailey is a travel Physical Therapist currently on assignment at LifePoint Rehab – West Jefferson Outpatient in Marrero, Louisiana. Her journey highlights what is possible when a clinician-first mindset is paired with strong recruiter advocacy.

Who Is Hailey, DPT?

Hailey began her career as a travel Physical Therapist immediately after graduating, stepping into a role that required independence, adaptability, and confidence from day one.

Her very first assignment placed her as the only Physical Therapist at the facility, a challenge even experienced clinicians can find demanding. Rather than hesitating, Hailey rose to the occasion, delivering high-quality patient care while maintaining professionalism and a positive attitude.

Her performance earned multiple contract extensions, and she left the facility stronger and more stable than when she arrived.

Making an Impact as a Travel Physical Therapist

Hailey’s impact goes far beyond productivity metrics or contract renewals.

During one assignment, a patient who was not even on Hailey’s caseload was struggling with cooperation and engagement in therapy. Despite the difficulty, Hailey consistently stepped in to support the patient, advocating for her care and ensuring she received the treatment she needed.

The patient’s family later requested a meeting with facility administration and specifically identified Hailey as the only clinician who truly tried to help their mother.

This moment reflects the heart of travel healthcare, clinicians who see patients as people first.

Why Hailey Represents the AHS Staffing Mission

At AHS Staffing, our mission is simple.

We get patients treated by people who genuinely care.

Hailey exemplifies this mission every day. Even in challenging situations, she maintains professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to doing what is right for the patient.

The Role of Recruiter Support in Travel Healthcare Success

Behind every successful travel clinician is a recruiter who truly understands their needs.

Hailey credits much of her professional growth to the support she received from her recruiter, Tyler, who consistently prioritized her best interests throughout her travel journey.

“I was new to travel as a new grad, and I have always been the kind to stay in my comfort zone. Travel pushed me beyond that. When you are uncomfortable is when you grow. I have sharpened my skills in ways I did not expect and grown into a much better version of myself. I would not be able to say that today if it were not for traveling with AHS and having a recruiter who truly has my best interest in mind.”

Tyler’s Clinician-first approach allowed Hailey to focus on what matters most, delivering excellent patient care.

Stories like Hailey’s are not the exception at AHS Staffing. They are the goal.

We believe clinicians deserve advocates, not just recruiters. Travel healthcare should support professional growth. Patient care improves when clinicians feel supported. A clinician-first culture leads to better outcomes for everyone.
